Fit the flywheel locking tool as before. Refit the crankshaft pulley with a new bolt. Tighten to 30Nm + 180 degrees. Top tip, if you don't have an angle gauge, make a mark on the bolt head (this one already has one) and a mark/scratch on the pulley directly opposite. Then tighten the bolt until the marks meet.
Dave_TDCI. Have an issue with my father in law's diesel mk2 Focus. When driving the car makes this horrible scrapping/ grinding noise which seems to be coming from around the Left Hand front wheel area or low down to the front of the engine bay, hard to distinguish which. The car only makes this noise when cold.
