The Seven Kingdoms: An Age of Petty Kings is a new mod based upon George RR Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' for Crusader Kings II. Hand-crafted and highly detailed - with the most detailed Game of Thrones map to date, it is solely focused on Westeros and the most western parts of Essos (spanning no further east than Lys) during the Age of Petty Kings (a period starting on 6566).
Aegon the Conqueror invaded Westeros around -2 AC and managed to overthrow most of the Seven Kingdoms pretty quickly, establishing his capital in King’s Landing. Using three dragons to secure his reign, he melted the weapons of his enemies after winning into the Iron Throne ; the throne that would later be fought over fiercely. I believe that's Pycelle next to Varys, then the kingsguard: Jaime, Arthur Dayne, Barristan Selmy (I think), Gerold Hightower (the "White Bull"), Lewyn Martell, Oswell Whent, and I don't remember who the 7th kingsguard was. The Stepstones are a chain of about a dozen or so islands, along with smaller islets, located east of Dorne and just west of the coast of Essos (in particular, the region known as the Disputed Lands). They are infamously filled with pirate dens, an uncontrollable border-zone periodically fought over by different Free Cities and even the Seven Kingdoms but not really controlled by anyone
